Phi Kappa Psi emphasizes physical fitness as part of a young man’s time in college. The national organization gives an annual William Henry Letterman Men’s Health recognition to the chapter that best excels in these areas. The GW chapter provides plenty of opportunity for both casual and organized athletics and physical recreation.

Intramurals

Pikus Cup

Every year, GW’s 14 fraternities compete for the Pikus Cup, the award given to the fraternity who win’s the most intramural sports. The winner is honored at a nationally televised men’s home basketball game.

The Pikus Cup tournament begins in September and lasts for the entire school year. Competition is fierce and Phi Psi is always one of the top teams. Phi Psi participates in all of the sports including:

  • Floor Hockey
  • Wiffle Ball
  • Indoor Soccer
  • Flag Football
  • Arena Football
  • Bowling
  • Table Tennis
  • Racquetball
  • Volleyball
  • Dodgeball

Philanthropy Tournaments

In addition, Phi Psi participates in many traditional and non-traditional philanthropy sports tournaments hosted by one of GW’s nine sororities, other fraternities, and other student organizations. We won Alpha Phi’s Heart Week basketball tournament, placed third in TKE’s Turkey Bowl, and most proudly, placed second in Delta Gamma’s Anchor Bowl.
